Adventures tracking the reintroduced populations of Greater Prairie Chickens (Tympanuchus cupido) at the Prairie Ridge State Natural Area preserve w/in Newton County IL. These trips were unfortunately unsuccessful in seeking the intended species, but successful in documenting other unique avian species! Future trips will be organized in order to advocate for the threatened T. cupido, and stay tuned for photography of the Prairie Chickens in the near future!
